Hi Billy, I am sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the services you received. I understand your frustrations that you expected the cost of the provided repairs to be covered by your Carmax warranty. However, the issues your vehicle had are not a part of that warranty. The diagnostic cost is due to the detailed work my technicians perform to figure out what exactly is wrong with any vehicle that comes into my shop. "Pulling codes" is only a portion of the work that is done during the diagnosis of a vehicle. I also understand your surprise with the cost of the tune up. However, your V8 actually required 16 plugs instead of 8 which added to the cost. If you would like to speak further about your concerns please feel free to contact me. Barbara was so patient with me on the phone while I was in near hysterics, stranded in my car in a town I wasn’t very familiar with. She recommended an amazing tow company, A+ Towing, to help me out, and even when I arrived at the shop, everyone was so nice.

I first want to start off by saying that I am grateful for my experience with Gowens Automotive. Ms. Barbara was the sweetest when I first called to make my appointment. She was incredibly professional and has the greatest personality and even sweeter in person❤️ My mechanic was Ryan. Very informative about my car and took me along every step of the way. The entire staff was friendly and what I love is that they treat you like family. I met them for the first time and I instantly felt like family. I’m happy to know that I have somewhere to take my cars whenever I have any issues! If you are in need of a mechanic especially in the Fairburn area please take your car there. It’s nice to know that honest people still exist in the world! If I could give them 10 stars ⭐️ I definitely would. I told Ms. Barbara that I have no family here and her response to me was now you do with a Big hug! Sorry for the long message, but they are worth every word!! Thanks again Ms. Barbara and Ryan!!!
