Labor cost was way way too high!!!!

Hi Rodney, Thank you for your feedback. To help explain why the cost of labor was on the higher end, it was due to the expertise needed to work on your vehicle. As you know, not many shops in the area are able to service 1986 carburetor vehicles. Fortunately, I have technicians at the shop which have experience working on these vehicles and do great work. This expertise, and the time to troubleshoot, is why the cost of labor is higher. However, this was a cost you agreed to prior to work began on your vehicle, as is our policy. We appreciate all feedback and ways we can continue to improve, so please feel free to reach back out either publicly or privately and we are happy to engage. Prior to taking my 1992 Jeep Cherokee to Gowens Auto Repair, I’d taken it to a shop at which the mechanic suggested & replaced part after part costing me a great deal of time and money with no success. After driving the vehicle in I needed to tow it out to Gowens. 😫🥶 Once Rick and his team went to work on it... My Jeep now runs like it’d just rolled off the assembly line. 🤗🤗 It took a bit of time due to part delivery related to the Pandemic, but in hindsight * * WELL* * worth the wait. From my engine issue to the replacement of the fuel tank the team at Gowens did an Exce!!ent..* * job, and a special thanks to Rick, Barbara in the front office, and Brian. If I have the need I will certainly return. Thanks again, -Anthony R.

Gowen has been a tremendous help when it comes down to my vehicle. They are always booked but once they get you in they always fix the problem.

Service was fast even tho they were busy and trying to comply with the CDC recommendations.
