BMW of South Atlanta told me they couldn’t perform my oil change because the threads were supposedly stripped and quoted me around $3,600 for a new oil pan. I took my car to Gowen’s for a second opinion, and their tech inspected everything carefully and found no issue with the threads and completed the oil change. Everyone I encountered was nice, professional, and courteous throughout the process. It’s reassuring to know there are honest, knowledgeable mechanics, and shop owners who genuinely look out for their customers. Highly recommend Gowen’s for their integrity and professionalism.

Their always kind, pleasant, and honest never trying to take advantage. I took my vehicle to the shop on 05/11/26 due to them doing excellent electrical on a vehicle I had others claimed they couldn't. Though they weren't able to fix my car this particular time due to no fault of their own because my current vehicle I purchased not long ago with a rebuilt title has faulty electrical work. They were able to advice me to locate a certain part I need and they would be able to do the electrical work.

Came to Gowen as second opinion for leak. First shop quoted 1900.00 for gasket engine repair and 3-5 days for repair. Gowen diagnosed totally different repair and the repair quote 400.00 with 2 days for repair. Gowen shop is very honest and professional. They know what they are doing. From front desk to mechanic are also very friendly and confident.
